More lil canvases.

This might be my new favorite. Flower is made of aluminum and stem is a painted q-tip!

Our Happy Garden

After a lot of hard work and manual tilling, Ken and I started our garden. We knew nothing about gardening and still don't really so we are just learning as we go along.

We tried to use mostly all organic soil and compost.

We bought 3 tomato plants, 1 pepper plant and cantaloupe, cucumber and squash seeds.

As you can tell we started from nothing and yes that is Ken tilling away.

We also did a few herbs: Rosemary, Lavender, and Cilantro.

You cannot see them too well but I made labels for all of our plants with 29 cent, precut craft wood from Michael's and glued wooden sticks to the back. So simple. (Also painted the signs with normal craft paint)

Our big sign was so easy. Ken actually found the wood slab at Michael's and I just painted it.

Full view of Our Happy Garden. Please note, our cute little ceramic garden gnome. (Found at michael's and I painted it)

Summer Time = New Post.

So Summer has begun and that means free time and lots of crafts. Tonight I kicked of Summer with a blank 5x7 canvas that turned into a cute little tree to mark the beginning of this joyous season. So Happy Summer and let the fun, humid times begin!
